We are hard at work planning another fantastic festival for you in 2022. Here’s an update on some of the key headlines!
There’ll be a combination of open-air stages and open sided marquees. 70% of people indicated this would be their preference in our feedback survey.
You’ll need to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets for watching the concerts, performances and joining in workshops!
We are working on our dance programme at the moment and will confirm more details including whether we have a dance tent soon. But rest assured there’ll be participatory dance, workshops and displays as usual.
Children & Young People
There are late night, quiet & family camping areas – a site map will be released closer to the festival. Thursday camping tickets have sold out. For more information, click here.
We’ll have plenty of workshops. We’ll use the Goldfinch and Siskin tents with two sides off. We may not use The Hub or The Songhouse. A workshop programme will be added to our website in August.
Open mic & festival fringe
We will be hosting the open mic sessions in 2022. We are working on pub sessions at the mo and more information will follow. Morris teams will be back in town and we are considering plans for the dance parade.
Food & drink
The team at Moongazing Hare Bars will lay on the usual great selection of beers, ciders and cocktails at their bars around the site. Our food court will be in the same area but more spaced out and you can eat under the cover of the food tent.
There will be lots of opportunity for a spot of shopping in the craft fair around the Village Stage. Please be prepared to make contactless payments.
We are no longer issuing physical tickets. An automated E Ticket will be emailed to you within 30 minutes of ordering. You’ll need to show your E-ticket, complete with barcode, on arrival. For more information please see our FAQs
If there are covid related restrictions in place in 2022, you’ll still be able to enjoy a fun filled festival following the relevant Government guidelines. We’ll update you nearer the time if this becomes necessary.
