Gráinne Duffy is an Irish guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Co. Monaghan.
Her sixth studio album, What Am I Supposed To Do, arrives May 22 — recorded in Los Angeles in January 2025 during the fires, with Marc Ford and Justin Stanley producing. Nine tracks of blues-rock authority: raw, direct, nothing wasted. Her 2023 album Dirt Woman Blues — co-produced by Grammy winner Chris Goldsmith (Ben Harper, Blind Boys of Alabama) and Marc Ford — hit #1 on the USA RMR Top 50 for seven consecutive weeks and was named 5th Best Blues Album of the Year by Classic Rock Magazine. Before that, Voodoo Blues (2020) won her the Independent Blues Award for Best Modern Roots Artist and charted in the U.S., UK, and France.
Over nearly two decades and five continents, she has shared stages with Gary Clark Jr., Ben Harper, Billy Gibbons, Keb’ Mo’, Mavis Staples, and Alanis Morissette.
She has appeared on BBC sessions with Bob Harris and Paul Jones, recorded at George Martin’s Air Studios, and performed on Ireland’s Other Voices.
