Shrewsbury Morris are well known in their local town. The Shrewsbury Lasses are recognisable by their brightly coloured pinafore dresses. They dance in a range of styles including original dances as well as a selection of others from around the country.
Shrewsbury Bull & Pump Morris Men dance in green waistcoats and brown breeches. Their signature dances are vigorous stick dances, some being original and others based on traditions from the Welsh Borders. They also dance some more traditional Cotswold Morris dances. The two teams also dance together as Shrewsbury Morris with a mix of traditional and original dances.
