NYFTE (pronounced “nifty”) or to give their formal title, the National Youth Folk Troupe of England, are some of the most exciting young performers of traditional dance, music, and song on the folk scene. They are a team of 10 to 18-year-olds with 40 or so members from all over the country. Their performances feature high energy dance displays showcasing a broad range of traditions alongside song and instrumental music.
