Three Idle women (Steph Pirrie, Jane Rouse & Charlie Henry) sing with warmth and passion, in close harmony, about the heritage of the UK’s waterways.
Bringing an abundance of knowledge, humour and an array of quirky instruments (saw, propeller, ukuleles, concertina, trumpet, accordion) they re-imagine traditional folk songs alongside their own originals. Expect tales of love, adventure and celebrations of nature, along with stories of waterways people and places.
