Domesday Border

Based in the ancient village of Penkhull, North Staffordshire, Domesday were formed in 2012. They perform an enthusiastic and energetic mixture of self–penned and adopted dances in the traditional border style. They hold their own events locally, such as the famous Penkhull Wassail, and enjoy travelling to festivals and events around the country, and occasionally abroad. They are proud of their inclusivity, with members ranging from toddlers to older people and even a couple of canines.

Their kit consists of white collarless shirts, brown corduroys, and tatters in mixed woodland colours, finished off with a top hat decorated with flowers, foliage and feathers.
